Dr. Phil - Facebook

I was inspired to rather than simply putting my possible future daughter in ballet that doing gymnastics was just as beneficial.  It teaches balance and physicality.  I wanted to start off a son in football and/or baseball but still am wondering if it'd be better to dance and sing like a girl.  I was not introduced to singing very very young, but I'm quite obsessed with it.  I missed some years of ballet, and people are in the disposition I can't even dance.  Sure, there are benefits, but I didn't chose to be who I wanted.  I mean, come on, wanting to sing at 5 is a young enough age for someone like me.  I was afraid of ballet cuz I thought I would not be a good gymnast.  I found that ballet is a strong source of exercise, however.  I was a hard-working ballerina and got big leg muscles from it, if it wasn't fat, which I don't believe it was.  These are just some thoughts I had about raising a kid, the things I had and the things I had not.  My parents were actually very encouraging to me in doing art, tho, even at age 2.  I started and I just kept going and gained the muscular strength.  I won 1st place in like all the coloring contests and some drawing ones.  I got to where I coul reproduce a detailed image easily when I tried at age 6.  I did a portrait of my mom that looked more becoming of her than she looked herself, like more details that spelled out who she was.  I don't think she liked it, tho.

I was thinking of having my kids raised without an activity and just having fun, but even my cousin who was like that got into ice skating and some dance.  See, skating was very popular when I was young, but I didn't do it, tho I do have strong legs and good balance.  I think daycare is important just as an activity, as well.  I don't want to be a weird mom who goes everywhere with the kid only.  I don't plan on having kids anytime soon, tho.  I need to 1st better myself and become more a successful independent.

I hope my post explains some of my thoughts on what's important in raising kids, things I haven't quite solved. :)
