Pure Pleasure

Why are people mad at you experiencing pleasure in private or feeling accomplished?  RACE

Also, why do some crappy job for a lot of money, just to get a mere home?  Why not get famous for performing?  You know, singing musicals and classical songs and some pop, knowing how to dance and do classical dance|ballet, etc.?

What I Wish I Did

Well, my mom took me to ballet at 5.  I think I should have said no and just taken gymnastics classes and quit and start working out on my own.  I would have never been on a team, but I may have.  I also liked to sing.  I didn't have to.  I had a black teacher in kindergarten who got me interested.  Then, Michael Jackson singing, "Caring, like you were my brother..." in Free Willy, which we studied whales that year, got me interested.  I didn't know about private voice, though.

So, I'd get to junior high and probably move to the New Orleans area.  They were supposed to build a fitness center, had a sign up.  A lot of people did sports.  There was this one girl who went into cheerleading.

I also liked art, a lot.  I still do it, for fun.  I wish I could do art in technology.  My pad didn't work after a few years I got when I opened it.

So, I guess I'd take gymnastics classes maybe and quit when I started high school.  I'd work out on my own, start jogging and doing strength training and cardiovascular workouts.

So, here's what I wish I did as a teenager and young adult:

Swimming

Something big that affected my life was when I was 1-2 and didn't want to take swimming.  I was put in the pool with this teen boy and made to writhe for a few seconds to float, went totally crazy, exploded.  He seemed racist, and that so disgusted me.  I kept telling my mom to take me out.  Then, I didn't do ballet until I was 5.

When I was 17, I swam in my aunt's outdoor pool immediately, amazing.  Well, I had taken swimming lessons, but this was amazing.  I have lots of good memories with her, but it seems like it wasn't enough.  I'm thinking of kayaking in Key West twice, the 1st time with more people out in the ocean.  The 2nd time, I went on a ghost tour.
