Ballet

My mom wants me to take ballet.  It has beginning/intermediate twice a week for adults.  There's an advanced level, too, but I'm taking beginning/intermediate.

Here's what the kids do:

"Solo" Musicians Gather to Flock Together

I am watching TV, and they were showing the blue whale, the largest known animal in the world.

I noticed the background music sounded like high-pitched choral singing with an orchestral group in the background.

I wish I could just participate in something like that and have already long quit the piano and organ.

If I knew a bit earlier even that I could rent instruments, I would have been learning the oboe.  I am doing violin, now.

You know, they really have a comfortable life, in a way.  They play instruments that play one line.  They start in grade school and perform every semester.  They can join a group rather than becoming like the phantom of the opera in their basement playing and singing along but almost always alone.

Actually, I've been in church/school choir mostly age 8-18.  It was actually one of the biggest things of my life.

Prestigious Colored African People

There are 2 kinds of colored African people, dark and light.

I notice there are some healthier looking people of African American heritage and very few of them seem fair tho some do.

For example, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, there was a mom and daughter dancers, and the mom, who was African American, seemed fair and very smart and to act good according to standards of Europeans/White Americans.

Who in this here earth is telling me acting is a fine art you start going to school for when you're 1 year old?

People in live theater with lots of lines don't go on like Johnny Depp.

Why?

I wonder why some actresses decided to think about or go to college.

I don't recommend college prep classes, even, for a performing artist trying to make it.

Singing

Do you wanna hear a 3-year-old sing or a 13-year-old sing?  Some hit you like.

Did you know..

..I quit ballet to grow taller and act at 21 and want private ballet if I make enough money somehow like thru acting.. and now they won't let me back in the kid class?

Real Singing

I'm for serious singing, not just I can talk and therefore I've sung.

Discouraged

I tried to study music at night school at a prestigious college, no luck.

I tried to get in a musical, The Secret Garden, at a local theater, no luck, didn't sound good for some reason there.

Deliberated auditioning for the real Phantom of the Opera on Broadway but am psyched out it's for someone younger or better.

Can't seem to do anything without a car.  Agents won't accept me.  Gotta keep trying to get in Hollywood.

Plans

I was gonna audition for The Phantom of the Opera in NYC but decided I was not the one.  It's grown old on me and I don't have much a chance after things like the last DVD.

I haven't been successful at getting an agent, yet, tho, neither.  It really p***es me off.

I don't think I'm gonna take voice lessons, neither, don't even have a car.  I'm gonna just keep trying to get an agent.

School would wear me out too much when I wanna act and be around people still.

Why..

Why does Bella Thorne get to not feel Spanish but I get treated Asian and it's cuz she's Italian?

I bet you don't know what being rich helps with.  Hm..

The more the years go by, the more desolate and destitute I feel.

I practice today singing and am too old to be in college with PEERS.

A "Case"

I am just a "case" to most people because I can't do anything I want to do.  I want to dance AND sing.  I have no car and can't drive much here!
