Being "Cute" in a Cool Way

Why does my parish think only the pastor is cute insteada following his good example and giving themselves a good identity?

Oddity

If I did something odd but nice at church, it would matter cuz "we have an attractive pastor."  If I were at another church, it'd be good for God.

Getting in There

Did you know they stimulate Late Boomers saying they need it cuz they are older, but they also supposedly have stimulated people born around 1997/1998 with Late Boom parents, tho they are younger.

What's it to you to go on like it doesn't matter for anyone else?

Ellen DeGeneres has a picture of her on Twitter I know with red hearts for eyes.  I think she is trying to stimulate certain people like that but people who I look up to - duh, it's to hurt me because I cursed about the hurtful, illegal noises she put in my room a long time and other things of supposedly different or lesser importance/significance in these big things.

Like, omigosh, I have scratches on my leg!  It's in the form of the design on the new carpets of the church and a new hymnal.  They sting when I rub my fingers across.

An Earnest Concern About Church

I thought being involved and cheery was a good thing, but now people think it's a simple "I like the pastor" and so whatever you do isn't as amazing as it would be in a different situation.  I guess some people do not wish to juggle the ideas.  It's a lot of older people who are criticizing things not to do with religion or anything you'd want them to be because they don't have as much important else to "tend to" otherwise; I've heard of it.  They are probably in all honesty simply jealous the priest is younger than them.  I think I've seen the early Generation X ladies get excited about the priest and ignore you and test you about if he's on your mind and it isn't fun to be tested and not know what to do or how to react.  It is good they are excited in some way, tho.

Disclaimer:  No offense.  What else is new?

The Rosary

They are praying the rosary after church this weekend.

I like this more integrated study like memorizing and using the beatitudes.  The rosary is meditation and group acting.

Our Church Agrees

it wants to be more holy .. it guesses, according to the sacrificial statement of the Hispanic priest.

That's an insult and suggestive that it isn't already.  I think I can admit here that they are aiming it at the pastor, just because he has his own thing going with others that others like that others think others don't deserve cuz they have nothing to do but cause trouble.

Something Sad

It seems people at church copied me like they think they shoulda had a chance at life and say, "Howcome our pastor is so attractive and I'm not the one being attractive?"

College Choir at Church

I'm going to be in choir at church at college tomorrow night where I take community violin.

I just got outta the Saturday mass and going to 2 masses there tomorrow morning, one with choir.  They have 2 contemporary masses, one for the youth in the evening.  I played keyboard for the evening youth mass at my old church.  My favorite mass would be a traditional Sunday night mass, sometimes/likely with guitars and tambourines and piano.

I've sung in this college mass before and at my old college in a chapel, the university ministry mass.

Bad Gospel Reading

I missed church this Sunday due to my back being terrible, but I heard it was about leaving your family behind to follow Jesus, which means not to let them lead you to sin nor detract from your training to be a disciple, even if it requires sacrifices of other people.

No, we need to learn about modern problems!

Young Adults Group

I went to my 1st Young Adults group at church.  I found that they were too shy around me to be polite socially, especially considering how uptight they intended to be.

I tried to connect with the leader in front of everyone, naturally, who is weeks younger than me, and I said we connected well both being from the beach and other people from different places, like Orlando.  I couldn't get a response from anyone.  She's from California, and my parents moved to Florida when I was born.

To be honest, I am suspecting someone told people in the parish to be mean to me.  I detected an outcome, which is that I'm not coming back to the Young Adults group meetings cuz ballet is at a convenient time then.  They lost a little respect.

Something else that flared up was I said the pastor might be getting back surgery, and someone acted like I was a problem and said he was better.  I said, oh, I heard it a few weeks ago..

Much more drama than that, tho, that went down this night.

Helpful Means in My Life

I can attend mass any day of the week, 7 AM every day!

It's so nice to be led by a holy man and be among other people with a similar experience.

Did I do something unforgivable?

Me thinking to give a pastor at church a present or so is a bad thing?  Why wasn't I informed?  It's a rare thing in general.  They must get lonely.  What of these things?

Hi, I'm 30! Some advice for what is hot currently is that you should know what you want to do before you start hi school, I feel, as a musician. I even feel you need to know even before that. Also know that where I went to hi school you can graduate early if you took some courses in junior hi. Most of us didn't, and I actually switched hi schools and took English V, didn't meet some easy core requirements yet to graduate early. I focused too much on pushing myself academically and didn't know I was headed to be a musician cuz growing up is actually a scary thought I'd imagine.

Opportunity

I just e-mailed the church to ask if I could play violin.

I played a year in a group class in college 3 days a week.  I have been taking lessons for about a month.  College was 11 years ago.
