Movie Review: "The Adventures of Tintin"

I was looking forward to seeing this quaint tale.

There was a big shock when you first see it and adjust to the fact that you are seeing 3D animated real life form people.  Arthur Christmas for example had cartoon 3D animations.  This was like the real deal.  Beowulf was like that, too.

Tintin is a nice boy with a nice vocal artist.  He has a quaint round head with playful red hair.  His dog Snowy, who I looked up beforehand, is a cute fluffy white dog with lots of spunk.

I must admit being peeved at that drunk guy, or was he just like that without being like totally intoxicated?  Silly man!

Renée Fleming was a marvelous surprise to see there.  My dad got me her Handel CD years ago when I was a music major and took voice.  She was the 2nd top singer in the world or the U.S.  She shattered glass in the film, and I must admit like the whole time I had to cover my ears because the sound was very annoying to me.  I even had to cover my ears after.  You know people trying to settle from the blow, the other voice actors tapering it not right away totally.

I think the ending was interesting.

Another funny part is what was advertised they were resting on a turned over boat because this drunk-acting guy who we thought was serious was delirious and made a fire in a wooden boat with nothing to keep the firewood, made of the oars he rowed after knocking out Tintin with one of them, from the boat burning.  So, they had a hole in their little boat and were out in the middle of the ocean stranded.  It was interesting when they got the plane to the desert.  My dad and I didn't remember how they got out of that mess!

I was happy at how mature and friendly it was presented.  I was a little upset, thought I'd enjoy the opera part yet had to cover my ears.  That's quite a statement to make to be able to do that.  I wonder how they knew about Renée Fleming.  I try to post about her sometimes.  I should also add her soon to my website of people I like and who they are.

It's too bad I can't remember the plot.  I was just watching the antics of all the characters.

Good show!  Jolly good one!

Welcome to my blog!

I hope you had a very merry Christmas and have a happy new year 2012!

Website Edit

I edited the top right box on my Blogger page, this page.

Bedtime

Past bedtime.

We saw Footloose again today, to, by the way.

Good night!

I'm making scallops.

They're frozen and will take 20 minutes.  The oven is heating up to 400 degrees.

The Lady at Wal-Mart

I did put what I was returning in a big opaque paper bag.  That might be why she wanted to make sure.

I feel bad about an elderly woman at Wal-Mart.

She was pretty aggressive last time I saw her returning something.  This time I was feeling funny without makeup since it was so hard for me to get up.  I wasn't used to having my skin flush that dark and people seeing I look kinda like a Latino.  I don't have any southern European blood.  I think she wanted to rub elbows with me and for some reason asked if I just had one a few times of things to return.  I was defiant in attitude that I didn't accept her suggestions in acting a certain way.  I just feel bad and sorry to that lady.

I also am sorry to the people I called niggers (because they were treating me like one and some were black) for whatever cause that I was bad to carry out or verbalize.  (It was mostly a few people online.)  I am sorry I didn't know what the word faggot meant.

Welcome to my blog!

I can't get away with that.

I said some things before that were not taken okay. Chloë called Jimmy Fallon old, and when I do something like that I can't get away with kidding.

Heritage = Chosing

The fact I didn't take all my opportunity connects to that it's white|European-race heritage. That's what racist people do as their excuse.

Sorry

I was just talking to my mom about her Chinese family in Indonesia. Her sister's kids sent my brother and I letters when we were kids. They're younger than us. I don't remember actually sending a letter back because I procrastinated. My dad's oldest of his two younger sisters used to write me more letters than I wrote back, as well. When I moved away from Florida, I spent months writing letters to people in the school directory over and over but threw them all away.

I was concerned I was not liked because I have Native American indian ancestry. They don't seem to know according to my mom, but she didn't know until after my brother and I were born apparently. I thought she already knew she said.

I post with my aunt on Facebook sometimes. My girl cousin, who is oldest in her family, wrote to me, and her brother wrote to my brother. Of course I told my cousin I was sorry for not writing.

It's time to go watch a show. Chloë Moretz is on! I'm set to record.

How My Life Has Failed

Well, I didn't get a 4.0 in college, and the reason is simple. I didn't read the summer books, but other people's schools had them read them already.

My health wasn't exactly perfect. I should have found a way to have some fun and to cut down on activities. The ballet kept me in shape, though. Edit: I only went once a week because that's what my mom said to do. In college I went twice a day even. I also did the camps at the old school at home, though, and only did ballet in the advanced level one semsester at college. Now, it's harder for me to do things like that because of moving and not knowing where to go and it taking a long time to travel.

There were other things along the way. I should have done some kind of exercise, but I enjoyed being me. I just wish I practiced the piano more and helped out with chores, since that's a form of exercise. There was martial arts close to home, at least though.

I feel as though I should have quit college after the first year. I eventually did. I was kinda ahead. I don't like to be behind. I found honors classes were easier than regular ones. I was always behind in ballet, too, though. In some ways I wasn't, but no one liked me enough to care.

My grades my first year of college were good. It's just that it wasn't the experience not getting enough sleep because of summer. The summer before I went to a soccer camp, too, maybe for a week, with my younger brother.

Orla Fallon

We recently got back from her concert. It was amazing. I was talking to my dad about it on the way back.

My dad has a video of us there that he's gonna send me so I can post.

She had some of the songs from her DVD and some new ones. She had a group with her from Tennessee at least partly.

It looks like it took a lot of work and interest. Everything just came together and worked, surprisingly enough.

I just really enjoyed it a lot. It was amazing to see her, a European, in person! I got to meet her to get a DVD signed and to take the video|picture.

It was nice to connect with her and see her react with an audience in real time and be there.

She's just such an amazing person and I'm in awe to have had this experience.

So, I finally have her Christmas DVD. I'm watching it now.

I am learning to play the harp so I can post videos of me playing it online. It's fun.

How can the English say they can deal with wild people in the U.S. when someone lives there and ignores it. It's still annoying.

Ah!

So, I just took a shower a few hours ago and feel very well! I'm gonna eat some Pizza Lunchables. I only have 2 left. I got 12, 3 for $4 this time. It's been $1 and $2.

I had to send it again.

It's taking awhile to get the confirmation message.

Okay, so ...

... I am thinking of getting different accounts on IMDb.
My aunt doesn't live there. She's coming for the concert.

Tomorrow

We were gonna stay at a hotel, but now we're not. It takes 2 hours to travel one way. We're eating out with my aunt, too, who's also going.

Concert

Tomorrow, I'm seeing Orla Fallon in northern Florida.

I'm just kinda hanging.

At this point. I'll be around. :/ My mom's coming home soon. So, she'll be with my dad, and I'll probably come in here.

I don't think I'm watching it anymore.

Settling Down

I got back and was with my dad, asking him about something. I just got my shoes off. I'm going back, watching Jay Leno.

Okay...

I'm probably not taking a shower because I already took one today. See you later, bye!

I got back.

I'm gonna get ready and jog for around 45 minutes - 1 hour 15 minutes.

Bye!

Tonight

My dad is home and we're gonna go out to eat somewhere.

I have to pack for tomorrow, but otherwise all the chores are done like.

I'm not sure when I'll be back. I'm not sure when we're leaving, but I'd imagine noon.

I'm going to iron my clothes.

I'm gonna eat some Pizza Lunchables!

So, I'll be in and out for awhile.
I might fall asleep. I'm just lying down and might look at some pictures. I can ask my mom in 1 1|2 - 2 hours. I left a note for my dad otherwise.

Hey, that was the wrong credit card number.

No worries.

My mom will wake up in an hour and leave in a bit less than 2.

The credit card doesn't work.

I might have the credit card number somewhere on the computer.

There is is.

I need my cell or credit card number to post on IMDb with a new account.

I don't have the keys.

Oh no!

I must have left my bag in the car.

This will be easy.

I might make it have an Irish flip of the voice if I can. I like "The Mummer's Dance."

By the Flowers & the Shining Stars

I wander by the flowers
On the bright sunny hours...

I think I will fall in them
And sniff by each stem.

Look, at the stars at night!
They're wondrous as can be.

I think I'll sleep outside, alright?
I hope nobody will hurt me...

I take a stroll on the grass.
I wait for time to roll and pass.

Here is the poem I wrote.

I know no one else is gonna put it under their name.

By the Flowers

I wander by the flowers
On a bright sunny day...

I think I will lie down
an sleep among them.

Look, at the stars at night!
They are wonderous as can be.

I think I'll sleep outside tonight.
Nobody can hurt me...

I take a stroll among the grass.
I wait for time to roll and pass.

What's on the agenda for today

I am going to check the numbers on my IMDb profiles and get new ones with a number combo I like. It's hard to get anything perfect sometimes. Sometimes, it's just nice if it at least it has some kind of pattern. To recap I fell asleep last night with accounts I didn't check the profile numbers for.

I saw the original movie of West Side Story at the movie theater as a one night 5th anniversary thing. They interviewed people involved who were still living. The dubbed voice was a key point of course and we met the lady who did this. Natalie Wood I know has passed on. I thought it would be a live performance like The Phantom of the Opera was. They also have The Sleeping Beauty ballet live and The Nutcracker.

I'm back!

Bye!

Shower

I'll be gone from around 6-11.

Okay, Lunchables now.

Make that Pizza Hut.

It's time to eat some Pizza Lunchables!

If I got another composition assignment...

...I could elaborate again one something short...my song before was just piano. I guess I could publish that. :/ It's already out, but I'll probably get to it first. No one else is gonna publish it. :)

Vibrato

I played a flute in a dream recently, like 3 days ago. Kate Bush sings with vibrato as a pop singer. I was in choir for about|10 years and can sing without vibrato kinda. I started using it all the time in college.

I just wrote a little poem.

I'm not adding anymore. It's 10 lines and goes from no rhyming to some rhyming to double rhyming.

Aspirations

I want to write songs like Kate Bush and then sing them.

I'm still practicing performance. I'm 25, but I still have work. I'm having fun singing "Mummer's Dance" now because I'm trying to crack my voice between two notes. I need to find my voice better. Then, there will be a smooth process for feeling out the lyrics and music.

I think the best thing in the world you could do other than simply being rich and famous is the acting in a movie. We need to get things rolling. One thing I think is you have to have a reason to have a long movie. I don't think random movies should be over 1 1|2 hours.

I think you can be a singer and an actor easily. I even can play the piano and draw with a lot of it under my belt. It might be more a factor of laziness not to do both or simply too much to worry about.

I take some inspiration from my dad, too.

I won 3rd place under 2 brothers of an assignment to make a musical composition. I think it was because I realized I was too old to be an acting|singing sensation star. I realized I would make a good director or composer since I've mulled over the piano since I was 9 1|2. I started to compose it and used it for my assignment when school started. It's a rain song where I repeat a lot of stuff and needs to be polished how I performed it from memory. Also, I'm 4th in the state for geometry. Geometry came naturally because art was a big thing for me even more than taking gymnastics classes since I did it about since I could remember when I was more than just a tot. F.y.i. Kate Bush is said to have started piano early and composed 200 things by the time she was a certain age like 18. I tried to compose at 9 or 10, but it was a song that was already written I just ran into after, that day.

So, the plan is to practice singing and piano and guitar and harp. After things kick up, I'll start writing poems that go with my voice and style. I'll make money from being the composer.

I'm inspired by Kate Bush's talents when she was my age with the way she sounds when she sings. You have to see her to get the full picture, and then you also realize she's English and from England. Her mom is Irish but can pass for English.

Just being an actor sounds like fun, but I even majored in music. So, that's a reason to do some music. It might just be a fun thing for me. I dunno how much I will do it. It just seems like something fun. I'll need to be inspired by lots of stuff it seems to find myself.

I don't really have much under my belt in the way of composition. I did piano, voice, and organ, so it was quite a lot, but it all helped each other though it was a living hell.

I think I could easily get a part in a movie when I'm better. Instead of always acting, maybe I will compose music, too, and get money to make elaborate music videos. I think I want to do pop because it seems you could do anything you want as opposed to opera and classical singing. I'm okay at it, but I think I'm better at pop stuff since I was born around 1985.

Sorry I fell asleep on you last night.

Wow, this has never happened. I always leave a note that I'm lying down, on my bed. I was thinking of screen names and was tired. :(

Welcome to my blog!

Recommendations for Tim Burton Fans

Start to get his movies. The total is $105.45 at Amazon.com, but I didn't put the 2 Batmans in there since they weren't sold alone. So, altogether, it's maybe around about $120.

There are other movies listed that are not on video.

I did rent them all first, but I knew I wanted to study them later.

So, anytime I want, I can get a bowl of popcorn and study a show of his.  After all, he is remaking something he wrote, Frankenweenie the dog.

For Johnny Depp, I got Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and some more I threw away this time, along with most of the movies of Tim Burton.  I got Cry Baby last time.

All I have left is wondering why Pee-Wee's Big Adventure didn't come in and because I accidentally ordered the book for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.  I looked back at my history and I don't know why Pee-Wee's Big Adventure didn't come in.

All in all, it gives you something to post on his boards online.

Yum!

This is cool. Good read.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_a_dog-human_hybrid_real

I realized why Tim Burton likes Helena Bonham Carter.

I thought as an extra reason because she was Jewish, but also she had multiple European heritage.  That's why their relationship is like it is.

I am getting thinner

but my muscle is keeping my weight at 154-5 lbs.

We're getting Dominos.

My dad doesn't want to go to the gym because we're busy to do music.

I'm doing music with my dad tonight.

So, I'm not sure if I'll be taking walks at night for awhile.  We're going to the gym every night, maybe a break and a walk on Sundays.

I'm going for a jog.

Gym with Dad tonight and maybe a night walk.

Well, washing old dishes.

I woke up to use the bathroom.

Towels and now dishes.
